Do you also despatch instruments?
Yes! We will send you all articles from our range per post!
Not only instruments, but also sheet music and accessories. Send
us a query!
Can my flute / recorder be repaired immediately?
We can’t promise! Before the “treatment” a “diagnosis”
must generally be made, only then can we tell you how long the repair
will take! An “emergency operation” is probably possible
in very urgent cases, or we will loan you a replacement instrument
for a small fee.
How long will a repair take?
That depends on various factors:
• the type of repair necessary.
• the age and condition of the
instrument.
We can only decide on the probable duration of the repair after
examining the instrument at our workshop.
Guidelines for flutes:
• two days to one week for a “small
service”.
• notification is required for
a general overhaul, which takes one week to ten days.
Guidelines for recorders:
• two to three day for a small
service
• we send more extensive repairs
(such as gluing cracks) away for delicate repairs, duration
on request!
I live some distance away, can I also send my flute to
you?
To ensure that your instrument arrives safely and undamaged, please
observe the following:
• ensure that your instrument is
well packed in its case and is not loose
(rattles in the case).
• never send the instrument in
its case alone.
• use a stable cardboard box and
fill it out with packing (e.g. balled newspaper)
and close properly with packaging tape (no Scotch tape),
• place a note in the package containing
your name, address, telephone number
and a description of the problem.
• keep the despatch receipt until
the instrument has been returned to you!
• it is not necessary to despatch
the package as freight.
We will return the instrument after its repair per cash on delivery.
Is your question not yet answered? Don’t worry – send
us your query per –email, we
will answer you within 24 hours on working days!
